09. Hanwella Fort
Hanwella fort was originally built in 1975 by the Portuguese. Just like most other forts in Sri Lanka, it was captured and reconstructed and enlarged by the Dutch. Paying a visit to this fort will enable you to identify many remains and ruins and enjoy the surrounding environment.
10. Arandora Fort
Arandora fort was built in kurunegle by the Portuguese and was captured by the Dutch in 1665. It was used as a base camp. Especially it served as a fortification against the force of King Rajasinghe 2.
