08. Negombo Fort
Negombo fort was constructed by the Portuguese to defend Colombo. The fort is situated between a lagoon and in inlet of the sea; so many visitors are attracted by this beautiful place. Negombo fort was also used as trade spot, especially Sri Lankan cinnamon trade.
