05. Jaffna Fort
Jaffna fort was originally built by the Portuguese in 1619 and expanded by the Dutch in 1658. The ruins of Jaffna fort are a testament to the sheer, futile brutality of human aggression. This fort is considered as the second largest fort in Sri Lanka, making it one of the most popular forts in Sri Lanka among tourists.
